Alex has worked in business development for 15 years, and has been integral to the development of winning bids for FTSE 100 companies, SMEs and charities. Alex has experience of leading across all elements of the business development lifecycle, from project management and solution design through to quality assurance of tenders prior to their submission.

Since joining 50 Degrees, Alex has played a leading role in the submission of tenders that have resulted in our clients securing over £1bn of new business, spanning a broad range of sectors including defence, employability, policing, energy, justice and health.

Alex specialises in working with our clients’ subject matter experts, asking the right questions to ensure he understands and can articulate the benefits of their solution. He is an extremely talented writer, and excels at describing complex systems and approaches in a way that is readily understandable and places the service-user at the heart of the solution.
