Colin has 35 years+ experience in the Criminal Justice System across the public, private and VCS sectors in both community and secure environments; with 17 years’ experience of operating in successful business development environments.

Colin has range of senior operational management skills, developed through positions in contract and audit compliance; project management; bid development and writing; operational solution design; bid management; and mobilisation, transition, and transformation. He has held a number of senior roles in the Justice sector market, including Director-level roles overseeing £multi-million directorates delivering a range of services, including NOMS learning and skills contracts in 12 prison establishments.

Since joining 50 Degrees, Colin has acted as a subject matter expert for our prison operator contract bidding work, designing operational delivery solutions across the entire regime, and leading on the development of implementation and transition strategies that balance the complex challenge of delivering significant service change and improvement, while safeguarding stability.
