Mark has 15 years of bid development experience in the public services sector, including employability and skills, justice, digital and technology, and sustainability/social value. As an expert in bridging the gap between subject matter experts and bid teams, he specialises in translating complex and detailed technical solutions into clear, compelling, winning bid copy that resonates with customers and commissioners.

Over the last three years, Mark has taken on the role of Digital Lead at 50 Degrees, responsible for leading on all digital bid elements. His understanding of the digital landscape is invaluable to clients as IT and Digital solutions become increasingly complex and central to public service delivery models. He has played a critical role in securing numerous high-profile bids for government services, including prison digital solutions and communications systems.

For 50 Degrees, Mark has supported clients across the UK, Canada, US and Australia, including helping to secure a portfolio of complex justice sector contracts, and large-scale, Canadian employability programmes. This draws on his rich background in Business Development, having led an umbrella organisation for voluntary sector organisations in the welfare-to-work space and secured a series of Work and Health Programme contracts as a freelancer.
