This part of our business supports clients and government commissioners to:
Evaluate programmes
Co-design future public services
Analyse local area demographics
Develop growth and market entry strategies
Draft business cases and funding proposals
Support local commissioners to procure future services
Conduct area-based analysis to understand local capacity and capability to deliver services
Review and interpret the impact of local and national policies on public services
Provide advice around mergers and acquisitions.
Some recent examples of our work in this space include:
Producing a global growth strategy for a major international corporate
Developing a UK market entry strategy alongside mergers and acquisition advice for an Australian human services provider
Supporting Local Government to achieve devolution deals
Drafting funding proposals to central Government to address economic inactivity
Providing due diligence support on UK and international acquisitions across the employability, skills and health markets
Working with a number of UK Combined Authorities to address economic inactivity
We need to grow our team to help cope with demand, and are looking for talented research, strategy and policy associates interested in joining us on a project-based / contract basis.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience working at a strategic level with local and central Government clients
Knowledge and understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Experience of conducting high quality evaluations and reviews of programme delivery
Experience of delivering field research and engaging with specific cohort groups who access public services
Sector based experience in the Employability, Skills, Health or UK Local Government
